Quite simply we love pizza. From the taste experience to the very way it looks and smells. We've been making pizza for over 40 years, and our passion is the foundation of all we do.
Back when we started, pizza was relatively unknown. In fact, our founders- two brothers from Wichita, a small town in Kansas, America- borrowed $600 from their mother to get their business off the ground.
They found a small building that looked suitable, bought some second hand pizza equipment and set up for business. Then they had some rules: use only the finest ingredients and bake every pizza fresh to order - that's as true now in every Pizza Hut as it was then.
And why Pizza Hut? When they leased the building, they discovered that the sign on the door had room for only eight letters!
